The University of Michigan is home to over 50,000 students. And each student has a different background and way of thinking. Student Resolution Resources is here to help in those moments when conflicts arise.
Resolutions can come about in a variety of ways:
The Office of Student Conflict Resolution (OSCR) supports community members who have experienced a hurtful event and would like to explore constructive ways to approach conflict resolution.
The Office of Student Accountability (OSA) handles issues that arise when a student or student organization is alleged to have violated the Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities, and one or both of the people involved do not want to explore conflict resolution through OSCR.
If you find yourself involved in a situation where you have experienced harm or you believe someone has violated the Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities, and you’re not sure how you’d like to approach the situation, you can start by contacting our office.
- Online - Submit a “Request for Services” or "Request for OSCR Workshop" and staff will reach out about next steps.
